In this workshop we will explore Taoist philosophies about winter, focus on breathing techniques to generate inner heat, and practice a variety of Qigong and Tai Chi exercises while walking through the serene trails of Wood Lake Nature Center.

Since 2006, The U.S. Pond Hockey Championships have given hockey enthusiasts a premier opportunity to experience hockey the way nature intended. *Due to COVID-19 health and safety guidelines set forth by the state of Minnesota, the U.S. Pond Hockey Championships had to cancel its 2021 plans. We look forward to celebrating their return in 2022.

Saint Paul Winter Carnival: Ice Fishing Tournament
The Saint Paul Winter Carnival presents its month-long digital ice fishing competition starting January 1 and ending on the final day of Carnival, February 7. New this year, competitors can fish anywhere in the State of Minnesota: lakes, ponds, and rivers.
