Saint Paul Winter Carnival has brought family-friendly events and community pride to Saint Paul and the Twin Cities metro area since 1886. Most activities are free and open to the public, take place in downtown Saint Paul, the Landmark Center and at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.

Faribault Woolen Mill limited run blanket by Dyani White Hawk for The Great Northern: Guided
A limited run winter blanket designed by award-winning visual artist Dyani White Hawk (Sičáŋǧu Lakota) launches as part of The Great Northern in partnership with American Craft Council. The blanket is skillfully manufactured by Faribault Woolen Mill (Faribault, MN), one of the last vertical woolen mills in America.
Dream the Combine: TRACKING, A Polyrhythm of Winter
Award-winning architecture/art duo Dream the Combine design T R A C K I N G, an intimate portrait of winter for The Great Northern. Consisting of a series of five movement prompts and responses distributed via text message, the artwork will be an archive of our collective remembrances of winter.
