Le Goût d’un Pays (The Essence of a Country) is a documentary featuring two well-known Quebecois poets who tell a story about Quebec through maple syrup. The film’s chronicling of the country’s cherished condiment is a tribute to sustainable food production and to the people who have passed down this centuries-old tradition in Quebec as well as places like Minnesota.
