Christa Rymal (RN, Educator, Facilitator, Point Founder & CEO) is an instructor and facilitator of breathwork, cold plunging, and sauna therapy. She has advanced education and certification in Sherpa Breath and Cold Exposure. She practices several breathing modalities and mindfulness techniques with her clients, including Wim Hof and other evidence-backed methods.

Through her work with patients, Christa became determined to bring the science and practice of lifestyle medicine to more people living with a chronic disease or aiming to prevent one. Realizing the important role that nurses serve as they speak the language of medicine, healing, and health, Christa felt empowered to bring to life the mission of The Point Retreats. Reaching out to those who had personally or professionally inspired her own journey to improved health, Christa brought together a team of experts in lifestyle and functional medicine to help a large population, and diverse communities of professionals, discover a longer healthspan.

Thaddeus Owen began his journey outdoors, camping and fishing as a boy in the Adirondacks and Central NY forests. After a decade spent developing pharmaceutical products, he just couldn’t face another day adding terrible ingredients like high fructose corn syrup and numerous red dyes into children’s medicine. He shifted gears and engineered a successful work from home assignment following Tim Ferriss’s 4 Hour Workweek where he began a new job keeping toxic chemicals out of products we all use every day. From there, he was able to find a way to incorporate more movement, nature and sunshine into his work environment.
Thaddeus healed his own anxiety, lowered his blood pressure and fixed his sleeplessness using biohacking, PrimalHacking and Qigong. He spends his free time experimenting on himself in hopes of helping others on their journey. He studies Nature, Sunshine, and EMF and educates others on how to become optimally healthy using light and avoiding EMF.
Thaddeus is the Manager of Global Product Regulations for MillerKnoll Company. Previous to this he was the Chief Sustainability Engineer for Herman Miller.
Thaddeus holds a personal training certification, nutrition certification, Master’s degree in Holistic Nutrition and BS in Chemical Engineering. He also teaches others how to upgrade their biology through the online platform Primalhacker.
