Diane Wilson is the Executive Director for the Native American Food Sovereignty Alliance, and her new novel The Seed Keeper is a work of historical fiction centered on the true story of the forced march of Dakota women and children in Minnesota in 1862. In conversation with Minnesota Public Radio’s Brandt Williams and live virtual audience, Wilson answers questions on her work, research and inspiration. Wilson is a Mdewakanton descendent, enrolled on the Rosebud Reservation, and lives in Shafer, Minnesota.
