Embrace winter by getting active! The Great Northern has teamed up with Fleet Feet to present a 5k winter run. This run is open to all ages and abilities. The run will start and finish at The Great Northern Sauna Village. This run is free with registration.
Runner check-in & instructions:
Runner Check in: Arrive at Malcom Yards 8:30-8:55am. Park in the parking lot behind the building or take the Green Line lightrail to the Prospect Park stop. At the building, follow "Sauna Village" signage to the Blue Print Room on the west end of the market. Runners can bring their sauna gear to be stowed in a locker during the run or they may keep their belongings in their car.
Check in at the table and receive a wristband. Instructions will be provided and the run will be led by Fleet Feet, beginning at 9am. Runners will return to the Sauna Village check in area 10-10:30am.
Unwind after your run with a discounted Sauna Village Session
Celebrate the end of your run with a sauna village session! All participants will receive a special discount to a Sauna Village session starting at 10:30am. More information will be provided upon registration.
Please note: Sauna participants must be 13+ years of age at the time of their sauna experience. Attendees under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Parents are welcome to bring children ages 5-13 during our Family Day Steam Sessions.
