Sat, Jan 29, 4:30 pm
In partnership with Fat Tire
Free, registration required

Prior to the celebration of an upcoming top-secret, limited-release beer, Fat Tire will host a panel focused on the impacts of climate change across brewing and winter sports. Fat Tire’s Director of Social and Environmental Impact, Katie Wallace, along with panelists representing regenerative agriculture and professional skiing, will discuss the impacts of the warming climate on their industries. And yes, there will be free beer and awesome prizes for raffle. Moderated by Dr. Len Necefer (Founder, Natives Outdoors).

The panelists:

Katie Wallace — Director, Social and Environmental Impact, New Belgium Brewing

Joe Vadeboncoeur — COO, American Birkebeiner Foundation

Mike King — Apple farmer, King Orchards | Professional skier, 686/Lib Tech | Protect Our Winters athlete

Jonnah Perkins — Potato farmer, Mythic Farm | Professional trail runner | Protect Our Winters athlete

Please note: Elements of this event will be held both inside (panel conversation) and outside (beer release & party) of the private Blueprint room at Malcolm Yards Market. Attendees are welcome to bring their food and refreshment outdoors to consume.

Due to newly released Minneapolis and Saint Paul regulations we will be requiring proof of vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative COVID-19 test taken under medical supervision within 72 hours of the event. Masks are required in the indoor areas and recommended outdoors while not eating or drinking.
