Wendy Krause

Over the past 20 years, Krause has transformed from a non-runner to an ultra-runner focusing initially on road marathons and later pivoting to trail running. As a master runner with numerous races and podium finishes, she has discovered many parallels between running and life. Running has strengthened her resilience, helped her manage motherhood, balance work, and embrace midlife.

Wendy is passionate about coaching and supporting women in their 40s (and beyond) as they pursue their health and fitness goals.

Trail Sisters Article Contributor and Certified Distance Running Coach. 2x Boston Qualifier, First place Finisher: Hennepin Hundred-100 miler, Kettle Moraine 100k, Popple Shoot Trail Races 87k.

Wendy enjoys all things outdoors, from cross-country skiing to stand-up paddleboarding, nature walks, and just finding her thoughts. She lives life with a streak of spontaneity and a love for adventure, believing that life is too short to be anything but exciting. Fun Fact: I run and train with my two Vizsla’s, Indy and Koda – Canicross Amateurs.
