Tashina Red Hawk (Anpetu Yuonihan Win, “Honors the Day Woman”) is a proud member of the Sicangu Lakota Oyate (Rosebud Sioux Tribe).Tashina is a Lakota singer and songwriter, cultural ambassador, and accomplished horsewoman. She served as Miss Indian World 2022–2023, reflecting her commitment to culture, community, and animal science. Her achievements include being a two-time Gathering of Nations Horse & Regalia World Champion, a Women’s Traditional Dance champion, and a district barrel racing champion.Through her voice, artistry, and leadership, she continues to build bridges for future generations while honoring Lakota values and lifeways.
