Liz is an award-winning producer and documentarian with experience working on a wide variety of projects in the U.S. and abroad – always with a commitment to intimate and authentic storytelling.
In television, Liz has worked as executive producer and showrunner, leading diverse creative teams and collaborating with stakeholders to create top-rated series including Bobby and Giada in Italy with Bobby Flay and Giada De Laurentiis and Fixer Upper with Chip and Joanna Gaines for Discovery+, and The Tim Ferris Experiment for Apple.
Foundational experience as a video-journalist informs Liz’s approach to stories and subjects. Her groundbreaking documentary work for TV includes stories for The First 48 and Code Blue for New York Times Television, and Women and the Badge with Pam Grier for Oxygen. Her work for premium outlets includes Salt Fat Acid Heat for Netflix and The Story of Late Night for CNN Originals. Independent work includes the James Beard Award-winner, A Matter of Taste, Facing the Dragon, a documentary about women in Afghanistan which premiered at the Human Rights Watch Film Festival and won a Gracie Award, and Making Music, which follows young classical artists competing in the inaugural Nina Simone Piano Competition for African American pianists.
Most recently, Liz is working with brands and organizations to connect with people, promote dialogue, and build community around purpose-driven, next generation storytelling.
